This is undoubtedly one of my favoite camera bags for taking on vacations and cruises. It is just the right size for a DSLR with 18-200mm lens attached, and still leaves room for a 70-300mm and 11-16mm lens. You can even put a 70-200mm f/2.8 lens in this bag - although it needs to be detached from the camera.
The Speed Freak is the middle size bag in Think Tank's "Speed/Convertable" line, with the Speed Demon and Speed Racer being the other two.
The reason I like this bag so much is that it is the right size, has nice storage pockets for everything I need on a cruise - including boarding documents and passports - and with the "convertable" design, I can carry it all day long without being a burden. When we board the ship, I just carry it on my shoulder until I get through security; and then it straps onto my 20" rolling carry-on luggage with a

The Think Tank Speed Freak is normally a shoulder bag, but it can be used with a pull out waist belt that is permanently attached (but stuffs into the bag when not needed). The belt has loops on it so you can attach pouches if needed. However, the danger is by loading the belt loops with gear, you make the bag heavier. There is also a protective rain cover inside of it as well.
With the waist belt/shoulder strap, the weight is distributed better, and the bag can be comfortably carred all day long.
The top opening comparment of the bag allows easy access without having to remove it.
While they are a bit expensive, Think Tank products are professional grade, and do carry a lifetime warranty. They should provide years of enjoyment.
